26、How do you get news？
Good morning, professors. Thank you for your question. Now I’d like to answer this question for you.
I get news from both traditional media and new media. For traditional media, it is mainly TV. I watch the news broadcast at 7 o’clock every night on time. In this way, I can know the current hot events at home and abroad.
For new media, it is mainly microblogs and Wechat public numbers. The biggest advantage of new media is its quick transmission speed. I can get the news the minute when one thing happens. In addition, the forms of information in new media are more diverse, such as video, audio, H5 even VR and AR, which makes information more vivid and lively. It can help public to understand them better.
The emergence of new media brings a more complex information environment. It is more difficult to distinguish what is true and what is not. Therefore, we should to improve our news literacy, which core is cognitive approach to doubt. What’s more, we should to get news from different channels as well as compare them.
