If you are feeling overwhelmed with a closet full of clothes yet nothing to wear, our “ Old Clothes, New Life” party can help. Bring your old threads to our party where our designers will show you how to revive them or let them find new owners and really, live again.

每年有2600万件旧衣服被扔掉，只有不到1%被回收，几乎没有一件被重新使用。这不仅低效和浪费资源，而且织物生产的数量也损害了我们的环境。（中国循环经济协会）

中国棉布年产量已达5000万吨，占世界制成品的一半以上。每年有500万到1000万吨不需要的衣服，如果我们能找到一种方法来回收它们，它每年的产量将超过新棉花的使用。（中国纺织服装协会）

闲置和浪费的化纤和棉布相当于大庆油田年产量的一半。这意味着，如果我们能找到一种回收面料的方法，就可以节约2400万吨原油（占大庆油田年产量的一半以上）。（中国资源循环协会）

26 million of the used clothes are tossed out every year, less than 1% are being recycled, almost none of them have been reused.Not only is this inefficient and wasteful,but the amount of fabric production is also damaging our environment. （CHINA ASSOCIATION OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY）

China’s cotton fabrics have reached to 50 million tons per year,which is more than half of the world’s manufactured goods overall. Every year there is 5 million to 10million tons of unwanted clothes, if we could find a way to recycle them, it would yield more than enough cotton currently produced every year. （China National Textileand Apparel Council）

The spare and wasted chemical fiber and cotton fabric is equal to the cost of half of Daqing oilfield’s annual production. Which means if we can find a way to recycle fabric,we could save 24 million tons of crude oil(more than a half of Daqing oilfield’s annual production).（China ResourcesRecycling Association）

Countless fashion brands have already startedto join the trend and work towards a more sustainable industry. Green fashion is increasingly expanding throughout Europe and North America，China is also rising towards a sustainable future. It is bringing more than just another new trend into the world, it is introducing a healthy life perspective and fashion ideals.

提醒 Reminders：

请把旧衣服清洗整理干净。请别带不要内衣裤、袜子、泳衣。

Wash your clothes before you donate them, please. No underwear, socks or swimwear.

旧回收的衣服每件以10元的价格出售。这些钱将用来支付义工和邮寄衣服的费用，剩余的资金将会纳入行瑜伽基金捐助给有需要的人。

Upcycled clothes in the fair will be sold for 10 RMB per item; the fees will be spent paying the volunteers/guests’ transportation fees, bills and the rest will keep in Yoga Sadhana charity organazation for donation.

这是一个“0废弃”的活动，希望大家带上自己的水杯和环保袋子前来。

This will be a “zero waste” event, so please bring your own cup/bottle for drinking water, and bring your own environmental-friendly shopping bags too.
