HAMMAR - H20 HYDROSTATIC RELEASE UNIT

本装置由两头带绳环的绳索，释放机械装置和红色的易断绳组成。

Unit consists of a double looped rope line,a release mechanism and a red colored weak link.

无须维修服务。

Does not need servicing.

每两年必须更新。

Must be replaced after two years.

Installation (Refer to figure above)

1. 检查装置的有效期是否正确标注。如不正确标注,不同的主管机关有权不接受。

Check the unit for proper marking of yearand month of expiry. If the unit is not properly marked, it will not beacceptable to the various authorities.

2. 将该装置用卸扣系固于甲板或鞍座的牢固点上。卸扣必须穿过一包括“易断绳”的眼环和附属索的下环部分。

Secure the unit with a shackle to a strongpoint on the deck or on the cradle. The shackle should pass through the thimblethat contains the “weak link” and the lower loop of the attachment line.

3. 用另一卸扣穿过附属索的较大绳环和“易断绳”的上部绳环以及救生筏的筏缆。

Use another shackle and pass it through thelarger loop of the attachment line, upper loop of the “weak link” and thepainter line of the life raft.

4. 将救生筏置于鞍座。将固定绑扎钢丝/皮带从外舷外经过筏顶，并用搭扣连接于 HRU 的附属绳索上。确认当救生筏释放后不会被船上的障碍物所阻碍。

Place the life raft in its cradle. Pass thelashing wire / strap from the outboard side over the life raft and secure it tothe attachment line of the HRU using a senhouse slip hook. Ensure that thepainter will not get snagged on any obstruction on board when the life raftgets released.

静水压力释放装置在水面下 1.5 至 4 米深度时启动将救生筏从其绑扎状态释放。此时筏缆与附属索的上部绳环脱离，仅通过易断绳与船舶相连。

The unit will activate at a depth of 1.5 to4 meters below the water and release the raft from its lashings. When thishappens the painter becomes free from the upper part of the attachment line andwill remain attached to the ship only by the weak link.

救生筏浮上水面，拉紧筏缆并启动膨胀救生筏。

The life raft floats to the surface and thestretched painter activates the inflation of the life raft.

易断绳受浮力后断开，将筏缆释放，从而使救生筏脱离沉船。

The weak link breaks thus setting thepainter free and the life raft will be free from the sinking ship.

“ Hammar HRU”的操作 – 静水压力将弹簧释放，带动所附的刀片割断附绳，从而将救生筏从其存放处释放。

Operation of Hammar HRU – water pressurereleases the spring and attached sharp knife cutting the attachment line thusreleasing the life raft from the container.

安装 (参考上图)

将 HRU 用最小破断力为 15KN 的卸扣固定于鞍座的横档或甲板的牢固点上。

Secure the lower part of the HRU to thecrosspiece of the cradle or a strong point on the deck by means of a shacklewith a minimum breaking strength of 15 kN.

推动手动释放机械打开“释放制转杆。

Open the „release pawl‟ at the top of theHRU by pushing in the manual release mechanism.

将眼环推入开口，将“释放制转杆”转回至初始位置。如为带“卸扣”的模式，则“卸扣”可在不打开“释放制转杆”就可安装。

Insert the „ring‟ in the gap and turn the„release pawl‟ back to its initial position. In the case of the model with the„shackle‟, the „shackle‟ can be attached without opening the „release pawl‟.

当“释放制转杆”在闭合位置时，用 17MM 扳手将“指示螺栓”转至位置”！”。会发出“咔”的一声表示“释放制转杆”已锁定在闭合位置。

With the „release pawl‟ in the closedposition, turn the „index bolt‟ back to position I using a 17 mm wrench. A“click” should be heard to confirm that the „release pawl‟ is locked in theclosed position.

用卸扣连接筏缆和易断绳索至配备的眼环上。如为带“卸扣”的型号，则筏缆和易断绳索应直接连接至静水压力释放装置上。

Connect the painter line and weak link tothe „ring‟ by means of a shackle. In the case of the model with the „shackle‟,the painter line and weak link should be attached directly.

用卸扣将另一头的易断绳索连接到静水压力释放装置的下部。

Connect the other end of the weak link tothe lower part of the HRU by means of a shackle.

用搭扣将救生筏外壳绑扎带连接到“释放制转杆”上。

Connect the life raft container lashing tothe „release pawl‟ by means of a senhouse slip hook.

自动释放：

Automatic release

当船舶下沉至水面下 2-4 米时，水压通过进水口打开“释放制转杆”。

When the ship is sinking, the waterpressure through the water inlet holes opens the „release pawl‟ at a depth of 2to 4 meter below the surface.

筏体绑扎带被脱开，将救生筏从鞍座释放出来。

The raft container lashing becomes free andreleases the raft from the cradle.

连接筏缆和易断绳索的“眼环”或“卸扣”也被一同释放。

The „ring‟ or „shackle‟ to which thepainter line and the weak link are attached also becomes free.

筏缆此时仅通过系在静水压力释放装置底部的易断绳索与沉船相连。

The painter will now be attached to thesinking ship by only the weak link which is secured to the bottom of the HRU.

当水深超过筏缆长度时，易断绳索的强度足够将筏缆从筏体拉出，并启动膨胀救生筏。（看下图）

When the water depth exceeds the length ofthe painter line, the weak link is strong enough to pull out the painter linefrom the container and inflate the life raft. (See figure below).

当救生筏启动膨胀后，浮力导致易断绳索破断，将救生筏释放至水面。

Once the life raft is inflated, thebuoyancy causes the weak link to break and the life raft floats free to thesurface of the water.

Fitted on a special type of stand called„N‟ type stand (see figure below).

The „N‟ type stand is provided with amanual launch shaft.

The raft is released into the water bypulling out the launch shaft on the stand.

此类 “HRU”由膜盒，扳机 A，扳机 B，扳机 C 和用于将 HRU 固定在底座的带卸扣的“U”形螺栓。（见下图）

The „HRU‟ consists of the box diaphragm,Trigger A, Trigger B, Trigger C and a „U‟ bolt arrangement with shackle forsecuring to the stand (see figure below).

Installation:

将 HRU 用“U”形螺栓安装于“N” 形底座的横档。

Secure the HRU to the crosspiece of the „N‟type stand with the „U‟ bolt.

将灰色标识的扳机 A 与卸扣相连。

Fit a shackle to Trigger A which is coloredgrey.

将救生筏外壳绑扎带穿过卸扣并收紧绑扎带。

Pass the container lashing wire throughthis shackle and tighten the lashing.

如为“无易断绳索”类型 – 将红色启动绳与鞍座上的有眼螺栓相连，白色的筏缆与同漆为白色的扳机 C 相连（见下图）。

In the case of „No weak link‟ system type -make fast the red colored operating cord to the eyebolt provided in the cradlestand and make fast the white colored painter to Trigger C which is alsocolored white (see figure below).

如为“外部易断绳索”类型 –将筏缆与同漆为白色的扳机 C 相连，筏缆应附有与鞍座相连的易断绳索（见下图）。

In the case of „External weak link‟ systemtype – make fast the painter to Trigger C and the painter will have a weak linkattached which should be made fast to the cradle (see figure below).

当船舶下沉时，水压通过进水口释放扳机 A 和扳机 C。

When the ship is sinking, the waterpressure through the water inlet holes will release Trigger A and Trigger C.

In the case of the „No weak link‟ system –the operating cord will get pulled and inflate the life raft. Since the painteris made fast to Trigger C which has already been released, the life raft isfree from the sinking ship.

如为“外部易断绳索”类型 –因扳机 C 被释放，与扳机 C 相连的筏缆仅通过易断绳索与船舶相连，易断绳索的强度大到足够受拉后启动膨胀救生筏。当救生筏膨胀后，其浮力将易断绳索扯断，救生筏从沉船脱开上浮。

In the case of the „External weak link‟system – on release of Trigger C, the painter will still be attached to theship by means of the weak link which is strong enough to ensure that thepainter inflates the life raft. Once the life raft is inflated, the buoyancy ofthe life raft will break the weak link and thus set the life raft free from thesinking ship.

The container drops into the sea.

In the case of the „No weak link‟ system –the life raft will get inflated by the operating cord.

如为“外部易断绳索”类型 –救生筏由筏缆受拉启动膨胀。

In the case of the „External weak linksystem – the life raft will get inflated by the painter.

在以上两种方式时，如救生筏抵达水面后仍未膨胀，此时应将松驰的筏缆或启动绳从外壳中拉出，然后猛力抽动筏缆或操作绳启动膨胀救生筏。

In both the above cases, if the life raftdoes not start inflating on reaching the water, pull up the slack on theoperating cord or the painter as the case may be and give a sharp tug.

在以上两种方式救生筏都通过筏缆与船舶相连。

In both the cases the life raft remainsconnected to the ship by means of the painter.
